Parliament Square, London, UK. 28th October, 2015. Hundreds of supporters gather in Parliament Square London to demand justice for Royal Marines Sergeant Alexander Blackman. Sergeant Blackman, 41, was convicted two years ago of killing a Taliban fatally wounded attacking a British base in Afghanistan. Today, October 28, is particularly significant as it is the date the Corps of Royal Marines was formed. Military chiefs have warned serving personnel of disciplinary action against any caught attending the rally, which has been organised at almost no notice by ex-servicemen outraged at the treatment of Sgt Blackman.
